To strengthen the quality and accessibility of educational materials, the Learning Resource Management Section conducted a Quality Assurance (QA) Review of Digitized Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) and Instructional Video Lessons – Phase 2 last March 24-28, 2025 at Lagkaw Bar and Restaurant. This initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Eden C. Lequigan, brought together a distinguished QA Team comprised of Education Program Supervisors and District Supervisors to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of digitized resources used in classrooms nationwide.

The review focused on evaluating the instructional design, relevance, and technical precision of the materials, ensuring alignment with DepEd’s standards and learning competencies. With the increasing shift toward digital education, the initiative underscores the importance of delivering high-quality, engaging, and learner-centered content.

Dr. Lequigan emphasized the significance of meticulous quality assurance in digital learning, stating, “Providing well-crafted learning materials enhances students’ engagement and comprehension, making education more effective and accessible.”

Throughout the evaluation process, the QA Team meticulously examined content accuracy, pedagogical approaches, and media quality, refining materials for optimal student impact. Their expertise and dedication reinforce DepEd’s mission to provide accessible and superior learning tools that cater to diverse student needs.

This initiative highlights the Learning Resource Management Section’s commitment to fostering educational excellence, ensuring that digital learning resources serve as effective tools for both teachers and students. Moving forward, similar QA reviews will continue to refine instructional materials, supporting DepEd’s broader vision of quality and inclusive education.
